Some interesting sites

My favourite TV reality show is back! It's time for ANTM cycle 11. Watched the 2 hours season premier, and boy, it was phenomenal! You can check out the contestants photoshoots at antm-11.blogspot.com, a blog created by yours truly to honour the show.

Found a very interesting site. I was laughing so hard when I saw the outcome! Whoever read this should go to this site and try it yourself. Here is a few that I personally like.

1978 - In '78, kids were shouldering around huge boom boxes

1980 - In '80, Member's Only jackets were totally rad

1982 - In '82, guys were cruising the halls with their walkmans

Well, my favourite in 1982 ... what do u think???!!

Project Runway Season 05 Ep 07

Another very innovative episode. Think about using car parts to make a wearable yet chic and creative outfit. Well, think again folks! This week, the designers will be using this car parts to create an outfit and they were really working their asses out on this challenge. As a matter of fact, Project Runway Australia had the same challenge in episode 3 which was aired on 21/07/08. The only differance was, they had to work in pairs! Some of the designs were REALLY good! Take a look and compare.

This week, Nina will not be here to judge the runway show. Laura Bennett from season 3 will be filling her place. Without further delays, let's start the show!

Designer: Leanne / Model: Karalyn (Winner)
Designer: Keith / Model: Alyssa (Aufed)

Designer: Blayne / Model: Polina
Designer: Stella / Model: Kendall

Designer: Korto / Model: Katrina
Designer: Jerell / Model: Nicole

Designer: Kenley / Model: Germaine
Designer: Joe / Model: Topacio

Designer: Suede / Model: Tia
Designer: Terri / Model: Xaviera

Personally, I kinda like Suede's design, I can see people partying in it. Very catchy indeed. As for Blayne's, if he managed to tailor the boob's part to a wee bit more perfection, it would have looked really gorgeous, and I have to disagree with Rachel Zoe, I kinda love the length of that outfit! For Jerell, my oh my, I just hate it!!!! Concept is there, tailoring wise was good, but I just hate the fit at her boobs. I dunno whether it's just me or did anybody notice it as well, her boobs looked squished and it was really disturbing!

Project Runway Season 05 Ep 06

Wow!!! I was so blown away by this episode. First of all, the designers really went all the way to be fierce (well ... at least most of them ... ahem). We not only got 1 (which is a norm on each episode) but 2 great outfits on models to look at. I mean really dramatic, theatrical and at large outfits! Well, this week's challenge was, 'to design an outfit for a drag queen'. Chris March for season 4 was invited to present the challenge with Heidi. He had invited 11 drag queens to model for the designers. As what Tim Gunn said to the designers, "Designers, are you ready for the most fabulous show in the history of Project Runway?" Let's start the show!

WINNER
Designer: Joe Faris / Model: Varla Jean Merman
Designer: Terri Stevens / Model: Acid Betty
Designer: Acid Betty / Model: Hedda Lettuce
Designer: Keith Bryce / Model: Sherry Vine
Designer: Jerell Scott / Model: LeMay
Designer: Korto Momolu / Model: Sweetie
Designer: Kenley Collins / Model: Farrah Moans
Designer: Daniel Feld / Model: Annida Greenkard
Designer: Blayne Walsh / Model: Miss Understood
Designer: Stella B. Zotis / Model: Luisa Verde
Designer: Leanne Marshall / Model: Sharon Needles

Personally, I think Terri should have nailed this challenge. Her samurai-kimono-corset outfit is way more better than Joe's Anne-Margaret-on-a-love-boat sailor outfit. He won just because of the fitting. On the other note, the most funniest of all in this episode, in fact ... the entire Project Runway history, is when Tim commented on Blayne's creation, saying that it looks like a Pterodactyl out of a gay Jurassic Park! LOL .... You're the best Tim!
